Powerpoint 2010 Pixelated image borders

Recently i have noticed that the image borders in many images (jpeg/gif/bmp) all types have pixelated image borders, and sometimes the whole image will be midly pixelated. However this does not happen when i use Office 2007.

I am using windows XP sp3
dual core
2gb ram
