Preview benchmarks of ATi Crossfire

    Anandtech has got an early preview of ATis new Crossfire cards with a Gigabyte board.

    The performance benchmarks with earl hardware and software look impressive and should come as a serious competitiro for nVidia's SLI solution. The benchmarks tst how well the new Supertiling method of composite frame rendering works.

    Wow nice:cool:, I dual X850XT's can really competer wth dual 7800GTX's, now that's a real feat. I want a board for sure.

    Yeah I sort of did two, DFI's version doesn't even use dual PCIe 16x lanes:( Depending on the price though I'll still definately concdier it.

    I'm looking at getting another X800 Pro or whatever I need to Crossfire when it comes out.

    you guys with your beastly rigs, SLI/CrossFire while I still run every game flawlessly on my 9600XT :)

    And Ex wants to upgrade to an X800 from a 6800. meh.

    Yeah but I'm planning on selling my 6800 for about as much as I'd pay for an X800, with twice the memory. Why pay $400 for a card that is only 15% faster than one twice as cheap is the way I see things.
