problem need help

    hi could anyone please tell me why when i boot up my pc it does not detect the drives, i have to press the reset button about five times before they are detected, i have changed the power supply but it still happens all help much appreciated:)

    Sounds to me like faulty IDE channels.
    First, you should check that your IDE cables attached to the drives are inserted securely.

    You need to be a little more specific then that i'm afraid!

    Have your storage devices ever worked? Have you ever opened up your PC and played around with it? Have you been into the CMOS settings and had a look in there?

    There are lots of reasons why your devices won't show up, so the more information you provide, the better I can advise you ;)
