Just purchase the Gigabyte K8NS mb and Athlon 64 3400+ along with PC3200 RAM. I have an ATI Radeon 9500 video card that is AGP 8X.

After I installed everything, when I try to boot up it will show the memory check and I can click delete to go into BIOS, but it will not go any further. Sometimes it will show the cpu mhz as 200. I have checked to make sure all of the power supply connections are good, that the CPU fan is connected correctly, that the IDE cables are securely connected, and that the video card is seated good.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the quick post.

I have tried to reset the CMOS by taking the battery out for 30 minutes. I still get the same response.

Can you try the stick of RAM in another computer to see if its faulty?

That can screw it all up.

I don't have another computer that I can try the ram in, but I am using 2 sticks of 512MB ram. I will try them both seperately and see what happens. Thanks.

Just tried the sticks of ram seperately and get the same results. Seems like it may be a mobo problem. I have sent an email to Giga-Byte, but who knows when they will respond.
