    Hi all

I am hoping someone can solve this little mystery....
I have Kubuntu (HH) installed on my D600 and I have also installed HWF kernel for Pentium M (Gutsy). Now I am facing two issues:
    1. If I use Kubuntu HH kernel version, it uses the new B43 module for my BCM4306 wireless chip. I am pretty convinced that this new module causes connection and system crashes on a regular basis. The old module (bcm43xx) has been excluded from the new kernel and blacklisted....
    2. If I use AT's HWF kernel (which allows me to use the old, more stable bcm43xx module) I cannot shut down properly. The system will go to shut down, while running through text mode, but will stop with a text message - "System will now halt". Then the system remains the same until I shut down the laptop by pressing the power button for 6-7 seconds.

I am quite pissed off since the bcm43xx module has been excluded from 2.6.24.
    Bad news!!!!

    Thanks for looking.....
