I have 2 geforece7800gt cards and when i enalbe dual SLI in the controll panel I get a 59MP/s score at pcpitstop which it sais is unussually low. If I disable the dual SLI feature and am only using one geforce 7800gt then go to pc pitstop my score is like 426MP/s. What is wrong with my cards. I have the newest drivers. I just got my computer like a week ago, it was built by IBUYPOWER and I put a lot of money into it to have a sweet gaming computer and it seems that one card is broke or something. Someone Please HELLLLPPPP?????
I dont know. The computer was built by IBUYPOWER.com and shipped to me. I assume it is bridged properly but I dont know anything about this dual graphics card business or SLI. What would I look for, or how would I be able to tell?
Have you tried a game yet? I don't know how reliable the PC Pitstop software is, and while I've heard of it, it's not software that I see being used by virtually anyone. Games like Doom 3, Far Cry and FEAR are intense enough that you should be able to turn up the eye candy and resolution farther and have a smooth gaming experience with SLI than with it not. If you don't have/want those games, you might also download 3DMark 05 and run that. While I don't really care for it all that much, it's a much better option to test your SLI setup than PC Pitstop.
I have fear and doom3, both seem to run smoother with one card instead of two. For example when you start fear and there is that sierra mountain screen at the begining it is all choppy if I have two cards working but with one card it is noticebly smoother. When i have both cards setup both games look visually the same, but are jumpy and choppy in certain areas where as using the one card isnt.
First off, I'd uninstall the old drivers COMPLETELY, and install new updated ones. Next, crank open the tower and look to see if there is a board connecting the two graphics cards, sometimes they can fall off. Also make sure that SLI is enabled in the Nvidia display settings.
