Problems With My New Gaming Computer

    Hey guys ,,
    just a few weeks ago i bought a new gamin pc ,, and now ... sadly am havin problem with it:( . first of all ,, there is my pc Specs >> Core I7 QUAD 2.67GHZ
    MSI X58 PRO-E
    HEC COUGAR 75OW
    OCZ GOLD EDITION 3x2GB 1600 MHZ
    NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX285 GIGABYTE
    CPU COOLER : Scythe Mugen II
    CASE COOLER:3X 12CM BALL BEARING+ZALMAN LED 12CM
    640GB WESTERN DIGITAL 32MB
    CASE: EZCOOL 25CM LED FAN + 3X 12CM FANS
    LG GH22LP20 DVD X22
    OS : WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE 64BIT

    now .. the problem is that almost everytime i turn it on .. and start workin with it or playin or anything else .. suddenly the screen stucks ,, the mouse is not respondin + the keyboard also not respondin !! (it doesnt show me the blue screen that says that there is a memory problem) ,, also other times it starts restarting by itself . i accessed the device manager and it seems that every thing is fine . at first i thought its a cooling problem so i tried to cool it down .. and i did !! .. but it just keeps makin the same problem .. so every time this happen i got to restart my pc again .. plus i get a low FPS in almost every game ,, i set CRYSIS on veryhigh and i get a 30 Max FPS :(:(:( ! Pleaaasee Helpp me ,, i duno what to do :S:(

    have you done any overclockign at all? prime95 to check for stability issues and to also rule out any issues with your cpu and ram. also run memtest86, if no faults you can safely say there is no issue with cpu or ram. also check for virus's on your system these can cause random freezes and restarts. what are your temperatures? benchmark your hard drive using hd tune to rule out any issues with your hard drive. you should be getting alot higher than 30fps on your system. power supply unit can also be a cause for all this but your 750w is more than efficent for your setup. last resort is you can try a re-install of vista.

    vista does have some problems when it comes to gaming and fpbs and what version of direct x ur runing and all first of make to run the above to check ur ram and cpu "ram does come doa often" if still nothing try using at ur own discretion 3rd party drivers

    i would start by going into the bios and restart with the default settings. if that does not work use one memory module to check if your memory has a bad module it could cause a freezing problem. if it works with one then put in two , if the fails remove the module u just added and put the third in. if that works you have a bad memory module. there r other things to do but start with this.
