my mobo recently packed up and stopped working, so i bought a new system, do you think the processor from the knackered mobo will still work ok??
You'd have to test it. What went wrong with the motherboard? If the PSU blew its possible that the CPU could have died otherwise its probably fine. But like I said; You'd have to test it.
i switched it on one day and nothing worked, at first a thought it was the psu, but i tried it in another pc and it worked fine. thought also that it may have overheated and fried the cpu, as it has overheated before and not worked for about 2 days, then it started to work again. but i have posted here before when my pc knackered and most said that it was the mobo the was knackered, and just to replace it, i will try and test it, might prove difficult as AMD is what most people i know use so, al try and test it somehow
