Im planning on a headset for my ps3. I really dont want to get the official bluetooth headset and was wondering if any usb headset would work or does it have to be specific. I was looking at the Creative Fatal1ty USB Headsets as one of them and was thinking if it would work on the ps3 even though its designed for pc?

According to user experiences, any USB headset should work. I've personally only tested wireless Bluetooth headsets, and these work fine too.
But keep in mind that the wireless Bluetooth headsets are only used to chat with others. It won't send the game audio to your headset. You'll need a wired headset for that purpose.
