PS3 to HD-TV connection

    I am using a generic HDMI cable to connect my PS3 to a Grundig GU15WDT HD ready TV. When I connect the display has an overall strong bright green colour. I have tried to adjust the settings on PS3 and TV but to no avail. PS3 works fine through scart and TV otherwise excellent. Am I missing something? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

    make sure everything is connected correctly, have you tried a different HDMI cable, as it could be faulty.

    Thanks for reply. I suspect the cable may be faulty. I will take it to friends and try it between their TV and Sky plus box to see if it works.

    i would suspect the tv also! can you connect it to a pc to double-check, it might be your ps3

    Hi Dwarfer,

    Thanks for reply. Yes it is definately the TV. PS3 and the new cable were tried on a friends HDTV and worked fine. It's under warranty so I am trying to contact Grundig's customer services to have it replaced. Shocking service. Two emails, two weeks and still no reply. I will try retailer next.
