PSU help

    I want this psu. Will it work ok with my spec? is it compatible?

    This is the spec i am building.

    MSI k8n sli motherboard,
    AMD 64 4400+ x2 dual core processor.
    BFG 7800gtx graphics card, (might put 2 of these in.)
    seagate barracuda 250gb SATA HDD.
    1024mb ddr ram.
    dvd rw/dl

    Yes it will, thermaltake makes very good powersupplies. I would not try adding two GTX's though, the amps on all of Thermaltakes models are quite low at 18A or so which doesn't provide a whole lot of clean power but it should be okay for what you have. For an SLI rig look into a Antec powersupply with at least 25A on the 12v rail and 550wts.

    Yep, that should do great in your new rig!
    Also, you might try swinging over to nVidia's site and check out the SLI certified PSU's.

    unfortunately this tagan is not on the list, the list however, is for american psu's, i cant seem to find any of them in uk sites.

    Yeah it's a really nice PSU, you could throw pretty much anything at it without a hitch.
