    Hey everyone,

I'm going to get a new PC soon, but I'm not entirely sure of what RAM I should by.

I'm looking at these three memory kits, but I'm leaning towards the first one (OCZ):
    OCZ Gold 4GB DDR3 1066 (2x2GB)

    G.Skill Trident 2GB DDR3 1600 (2x1GB)

    G.Skill 2GB DDR3 1066 (2x1GB)

The most demanding things I use my PC for are high-end 3D rendering, playing resource intensive games and video editing. I had 2GBs for awhile and although it would get low quite often there was never enough of a problem to force me to upgrade.

So my final question is, would I be better off with 2GBs of super-fast RAM, or 4GBs of not-quite-as-fast RAM? Is there a noticable different between 1066 and 1600 RAM in demanding apps?

Thanks for any help :D ,
    Kai

    Sorry about the double post:
Well the OCZ Gold has been ordered along with the other parts, but I'd still be interested in an answer to my original question. :)
