Question about quad core cpus

    hi i having been thinking about upgrading my core 2 duo E8400 cpu with one of the new quad core cpus Q9300 or the Q9450.

    the question is are Q9300 or the Q9450 new quad core cpus true quad like amd have.

    and know that the q6600 are 2 core 2 duo E6600 put together all help would be great.

    The older Core 2 duo and Quad core like the Q6600 are not true Quad cores but the new penryn design such as the Q9300 and Q9450 are true quad cores, personally i would go for the Q9450 I'm gonna get one soon :p
