    Hello,

I am currently thinking of purchasing the Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 GTO 256MB DDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express), now in the description it says "DDR3 TV-Out/DVI". Does that mean my system will require to be a DDR3 memory based system in order to run the card?

No, not at all. This is the type of RAM the Video Card has onboard :)
Any motherboard with DDR or DDR2 will work with that card!

Nice choice man, the GTO will run anything beautifully, it's a very powerful card for the price. Just don't get the fireblade edition (it says it right in the title). It's huge and the fan is VERY noisey. Cheers.
