Does anyone know how to change the actual quick icons icons or a program that does this because my uncle always comes up and shuts down utorrent if he sees it open as it reduces his browsing speed when im downloading. Is there a way to chanmge this icon into another or hie it or something?

    Thanks,
    Nic

    I'm assuming properties>shortcut>change icon doesn't work?

Don't think so. The icon on the sys tray is the default icon compiled into the program. Suppose you could stop your uncle by simply locking your PC? You shouldn't be defeated so easily.

I do lock my pc in of which case he just turns the pc off and back on again.

Ah, got ya, I just figured maybe if you were able to change the desktop icon it would carry over to the systray icon and quicklaunch versions.

Hmm..unfortunately, I don't think it works like that. I figure you could get one of the sys trays that minimizes when it's not highlighted by the mouse, but that wouldn't do it....hmm...and there's no way to get rid of the icon on your sys try then? If you really wanted to protect your computer, you could screensaver password it and make a start-up password. THEN, if you wanted, you could BIOS password the thing. Be a bit annoying, but it's a ditch effort. Poor guy will have to get past 3 passwords to get to your torrent. :p
