ok, so i just bought this MoBo:

    Newegg.com - ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
(yes, i know, its an Asus Mobo, but i decided to take the risk)

And its memory standard is DDR2 1200 with dual channel supported, and a max of 8GBs. So i was wondering, will i be able to run DDR2 800, around 4GBs, with no any real set back, or will it be able to run it at all? And i plan on running Vista Home Premium 32-Bit (Bleh, i know). Any help appreciated

Go here> Welcome to Corsair :: Memory Configurator Scroll down and that big blue table tells u the list of compatible speeds for the ASUS P5E. I believe it does say DDR2800 so ure all set.

P.S. Hey, lay off my Asus, so what if they have the Quality Control of a chinese toy company, they replaced a mobo for me twice after i killed the replacement...hehe
