I have been looking for a quiet HSF for my Intel Celeron 2.6GHz processor (socket 478)...yes yes i know its only a celeron but its all i could afford at the time...anyway, i have no intention of upgrading the CPUin the near future..well not until longhorn comes out then i'll go to 64...my stock HSF is rather loud and it annoys me...any suggestions on a quality HSF that is available in the U.K relatively cheap? I might think of getting one wen i get some money and my fan speed controller...

blimey 42cfm from 2300RPM, thats pretty good...a 4 pin connector....does that mean connecting it from the power supply as i really would like something to connect to my motherboard...as i'll be gettina a fan controller and need 3 pin fan connections...

In the pic it shows a 3-pin, more than likely it's a typ-o.

ah yes thats okay, i'm liking the 42cfm from only 2300rom, means sloer rotation, quieter yet more air movement to hopefully cooler cpu, maybe i wont need to connect my fan controller to that, is that thermal paste you get with it any good? i know i have some curently on mine as the shop where i bought it from always uses the same stuff, not thermal pads but paste, cant remember which type though, anyway is the stuff you get with it any good or shall i buy some arctic silver i hear so much about?
