Hi guys, In the process of building my first pc, I've hit a bit of a wall regarding graphics cards. I've read lots of review but would like user experiences as well. I have a GPU budget of around £220 as I''ve heard it's best to spend the cash on GPU in a gaming machine. The 4870 card looks good as far as performance is concerned, but I'm a little overwhelmed by all the different models of the 4870 there are! I'm looking to game on a 19in. 1440x900 screen and my main concerns are noise and cooling. I was just wondering whether it was best to buy a brand card with a good cooler, or should I just buy a cheap card and put an AC twin turbo on it anyway? I'm going for as quiet as possible with acceptable temps too. Also if one particular model has a lower power consumption with the above traits that would be great, but not completely necessary.
