    Hello,

I recently installed 2 hard disks (2 x Seagate Barracuda 200Gb) in a RAID 0 configuration. However, I am only able to access 255Gb.

I have the following hardware configuration:
    MB - MSI Pro266TD Master-LR with VIA VT8233 chipset (376BGA)
BIOS - Award Software International, version 6.00PG, 21 Mar '02,
OS - MS Windows XP Pro with SP2

MSI Live Update v3 tells me the BIOS is up to date. EnableBigLBA.exe tells me that the settings in the OS are OK to get 48 bit access.

Am I constrained by the chipset? Is there anything else I can try to access the full 400Gb? Any advise would be appreciated.

    Regards,

I would think since you have formated the HD already and are able to access the 255GB the rest of the space is there but not formated so you can't see it.

go to Disk Management in the control panel, and you should be able to see some unformated space.

Now I haven't worked wih a RAID setup so I could be wrong...

    Hello,

Thx for the reply. Unfortunately disk manager can only see the 255Gb as well, even the BIOS only recognises 255Gb.

    Regards,
