I just installed a stick of Wintec 1GB SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400). I already had 2 sticks of 256 MB RAM totaling 512 MB RAM in my computer, and these were both PC-3200. Below I have included links to screenshots of my system's CPU-Z profile (Slot #2 is where I installed the new 1 GB stick of RAM). Could you please look at them and tell me if my memory dividers are set up optimally? Any other problems? Thanks. CPU-Z 1 CPU-Z 2 CPU-Z 3 CPU-Z 4 CPU-Z 5
Nothing really sticks out to me. Thats not to say that nothing there can be optimized, just to say that I can't give you a definite answer on it. You may be able to lower timings slightly but it depends on the RAM. I personally would not recommend it as screwing with timings is generally a pain in the :swear:
Thanks, I was mainly wondering if my memory divider should be set to something like 2:3 or 3:4 instead of 1:1?
