Hi, I recently installed a game. Initially all ok, then my pc just crashed. Re-started & ok, then crashed later. Thought it was the game so unistalled it. Unfortunately problems were still there & pc crashed whilst on any webpage. I then restored my settings prior to the game being installed. Again no joy so has anybody any ideas as to whats wrong? I am not that comp savvy so its prob something simple! (hopefully!) thanx.
Have you played games successfully before? What game are you trying to play? It sounds like it could be a number of things - Heat - your CPU is overheating, PSU - your computer is trying to 'draw too much power', bad memory - one tiny fault can bring your whole system to a halt. Can you post some system specs and any other information which might be related, like, how does your system behaves otherwise, etc...
Look what your event Viewer says....(RightClick MyComputer > Manage > Events) look at the errors.. Run Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool to make sure that this is not a memory error...!
