I'd like to use ReadyBoost on my Laptop and currently I am temporarily using a spare 1GB memory pen I found lying around but it sticks out too much. Since my laptop lacks a SD card slot, I was wondering if it would allow me to use a CF card adaptor in my PC Card slot with a 2GB CF card. From reading an interview from a staff member working on it Vista from beta, he said CF cards were compatible but he said ones in external drives weren't, so does it being in an adapter count as an external drive?

unless you select the boot option of the device it won't work

it is supported and external drives are working too but vista is nothing at all, maybe just for now until the sp1 even the sp2 arrives, i was just deleted it from my labtop and installed xp sp2 with linux suse 10 and mac os x tiger 10.4 just as my desktop pc :D

    works fine at all ;)
