Really Confused! please Help!

Hi,

I want to make myself a new tower. I want your help in suggesting me a good configuration for the same.

I want to go for the Latest Pentium 4 Dual Core stuff! I am also confused with the mobo to choose from.. I have shortlisted them as a) MSI b) ASUS c) Intel.

I was hoping if you could suggest me a better combination for my pc..

Someone suggested me the following config..

1. Processor : Intel Pentium D 930

2. Mother Board : a) ASUS A8N-E
b) Intel Original D945PLM
c) MSI ???

3. RAM : 1 GB DDR2 Transcend @ 533 MHZ

4. Hard Disk : 250 GB SATA - Hitachi

5. Power Supply Unit : Vantec/e-life 450Watt PSU

6. DVD - Burner : LiteOn or Sony DRU

7. Cooling Fans : 4 nos.

If you think that something else is missing.. do let me know..

PLEASE HELP!
 
Im not up to date with any hardware but provided there isnt too much of a price difference (if any) id definatly go for an Asus motherboard. Preferably one with an Intel chipset, but to be honest I thought id try an SiS chipset on my last build and have been very happy with it.

Selecting a good case can make some diffreence too. You want one which will help air flow as much as possible. Again, im out of touch on what is available, all I can say is that the chieftec dragon was a purchase im glad I made and you can probably get one for £30 or so now. I think I paid £100ish for mine a few years ago. :O
