recommended sound system

i was wondering if anyone had a sound system that they liked or had found recently. Currently i have my tabletop system hooked up to my pc. Ok something not really expesive, maybe digital audio compatibal. Also surround would be a good idea to.

i would look around for a set of Logitech Z5400 speakers, there the best speakers logitech has to offer apart from the Z5500 and the Z680, if you can go up to £200 get the Z5500's, they have DTS, DD5.1 loads of connections, check the review i made (link in sig)

U could just go OTT. i have 2 Denon 4ft speakers either side of my pc hooked through the amp to my pc.

Sounds amazing!! (i wonder if next door would agree?)

 

lol, they might sound amazing, but the price tag of those will be well over 400quid if there decent denon speakers.

 

Well i dint pick em up new. got them off a mate who needed money to buy a car. cost me 220 for the pair.

They sound mazing when playing Battlefield 2. next door must think im in Iraq

 

whats the make and model of these Denon speakers, they sound like floorstands by the height, i bet you got a right steal there!

 

You can't go wrong with anything made by creative.

 

well, for the price (135qid) creative have nothing at the same price range that can beat Logitechs Z5400, although that creative megaworks 300W 5.1 system might be a good candidate for taking on a Z5400.

 

hey just wanted to thank everyone for thier great input, i was also looking at logitech, i've had good experience with them in the past, and they seem to be very well priced as well

 

yea, if you look around you might find a Logitech Z680 for around 120quid, this is almost the same as a Z5500, exept the sub is smaller, the sub only has an 8" driver compared ot the Z5500's 10" driver, and thats about al the diffo, the wattage is the same too.
