I want to connect to my home PC (which is behind a Netgear router) via remote desktop. How do I do that? I mean, if I write the IP, then I get a nogo, cause I'm trying to remote desktop to a router not a PC. So, do I have to do some port forwarding or something?

I personally don't have experience in that, but I do know that you need to set up a VPN between routers (if the router supports this).

found the solution - just forward the default remote desktop port on the router and name the server's IP address - ie, the PC you want to connet to and everything flys
