I have been researching lcd monitors and i cant understand the following Take Acer for example: their 1 series 17" lcd monitor has a response time of 8ms. Their more expensive 2 series 17" has a response time of 16ms. This does not make any sense to me as surely the more expensive but same size monitor should be better. Also the 2 series (16ms) says that it is for gaming whereas the faster 1 series does not. This trend has occured in other brands as well so it cant be a quote error Pls educate me
Something is not right there! The more you pay, the lower the response time should be. A good response time from an LCD is 8ms, and a great response time would be 4ms.
