Not delivering wifi. Won't connect through the default gateway's IP address. Any suggestions?

Can you be more specific about your problem?

Yes, basically the router is receiving internet fine, and it's dishing it out if you hardwire into it, but for some reason the wi-fi is not on or working. I typed ipconfig into the command prompt and found it's ip address. Then I typed it into firefox and nothing happened. It told me it couldn't find the router. Usually you can...

    I might try resetting it......

    Hi,

My linksys router has a reset button next to the internet socket. Just have to hold it down for like 30 seconds or so to do a reset. If you have never set the password, try leaving the username blank and typing admin as the password. That is the default on mine and the default local ip for the router is 192.168.1.1. My router is a bit older, but its worth a try :)
