Looks like the installer is corrupted or can't talk to your hardware. Which version are you trying to install?
The X86 version: SabayonLinux x86 3.25 Torrent download, should i re download it, or should i get the 64bit version?
Better to stay with the x86 version but 3.26 is available for download. First check the md5 checksum of your disc and if it's bad, download the newest version.
I cant find any info on 3.26, just been on there website like 20 mins ago... Also how to i check the checksums?
See the release announcement here. It was released on January 7th. What CD burning program are you using? If you are using K3B, then it checks the checksums automatically. I have never done it manually myself. I know that you can do it via console with this command: Code: md5sum name_of_iso Under windows you can use something like md5summer.
I am still using windows, i use a program called DeepBurner, no one has really heard of it, but its preety good, i got nero but cba installing that. Actually, i downloaded the 3.26 aswell. cant even fine an md5sum file in the iso..
an md5 sum is not a file but a mathematical summation of the total file size. You must run an md5 'summer' to calculate the value and then compare it to the one on the website link I gave above. Here is an explaination. All it does is verify that the file is absolutely identical to the original and therefore not corrupt or missing pieces.
