ok. ya know this card has agp 8x and all that? well how does one enable those agp features? (texture acceleration 8x etc..fast write, fast read). in the Riva Tuner graphics subsystem diagnostic report, it tells me all about my grfx card. but where it says AGP Status, it says disabled. and in the directX diagnostic tool thing under the display tab, where it says direct draw acceleration :enable/disable and summat else, where it says AGP Texture Acceleration, it says not available....but its a 9700 pro! shouldnt it have that? my specs are: ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 256 ddr ram and the Sapphire Radeon Atlantis 9700 Pro 128mb. im running the 3.0 catalyst drivers and direct x 9.0 thanks in advance
You probably should have those things, but sometimes video card drivers can come with certain things disabled. I would worry if you have problems in games and such. I'm not sure if there is a fix or not, but you might wanna browse Rage 3D and the forums to see if they have something about it. If everything is working correctly, again, I wouldn't really sweat it.
