SATA drivers

Hi,

Trying to slip stream the drivers needed for my sata drivers on to an XP disc. The computer is still living (just) where do I get the drivers from (tried once and failed - not really sure what I am doing).

Failing that what do i need to know to find the drivers online HDD make, Motherboard make etc, (some one mentioned chipsets but don't really understand that bit)

Bit of a n00b in this area im afraid

Cheers

well, your mobo doesn't have an onboard SATA controller built into the mobo, so, you must mean you've added a SATA controller, correct ?

with a plug in device / controller you can download the drivers from the card manufacturers website

BTW: here's a good slipstreaming guide

i assume this is your mobo, correct ?

Edit:

no, you need the SATA controllers manufacturer, make & model number

Donkey - was being a bit special last nite. My Mobo has been updated since I posted it on here.

Got it all sorted in the end - dug out my mobo details and got it sorted.
