    Hello,

I just purchased a Samsung 250GM SATA Hard Disk, 3.0Gb/s with a jumper setting allowing for 1.5Gb/s data transfer.
    My motherboard supports 1.5Gb/s SATA.

So, I just set the jumper properly, connected the hard-disk and everything works fine at the beginning. The system recognizes the name, size and everything but then it suddenly freezes. I attached photos of the screen where it freezes on.

    The motherboard is Asus P5GD2.

Please let me know if you require further information, and thanks a lot in advance, for any help.

    EDIT: Screens are attached now...
