I got an sb0060 (Sound Blaster Live! 5.1) at a yard sale a while ago (75 cents, woot! :) ) It's a great card, but I've been using my mobo's builtin for a while, mostly because I need my front panel header to work. I'm on an HP Pavilion a450n (it's terrible, but I'm saving for a laptop, so I haven't got around to upgrading). The FP audio has a headphone, mic, and line-in on it. The line-in is a standard 4-pin cd-like connector, the mic is a tiny 3-pin connector, and the headphone is a tiny 5-pin. How do I hook up these connectors?

There is a giant "AUD_EXT" connector on the card (for a livedrive). The problem is, I can't find _this_ card's pinout anywhere. I also don't know what the pinouts for the mobo connectors are.

Unfortunately, it appears that only digital out/in are on this card.

Maybe if I'm _REALLLLLLY_ bored, I could build a thing with a dac :)

You might browse around some other forums too. [H]ard|OCP, GideonTech are a couple of sites that come to mind.
