Scan Document Into Word

Is there Anyway to convert A document that i have scanned into my computer, i can change it into PDF, or into rich text but not a usable office format, my manager at work wants me to convert it from a scanned image into office but i dont think you can do this.
If any one does have any advice it would be very helpfull

Rich text Format (RTF) can be read by ANY word procesor.

You should be able to use that format!

Is this a page of text? (and are you using OCR?)

just click <file-save as> and change the format of the document and i think Jaws PDF will do the job
