Screenshots?

    (I imagine this thread will be moved very soon but this is the only place I could see it belonging).
    Anyway, quick question: What key combination do I use to take a screenshot any time I want? Thanks.

    Hit the Print Scn SysRq button that's next to scroll lock.

    yeh, print screen button works great! you can take a screen shot of of an active window by pressing "alt + print screen"

    in the clipboard thats where anything you copy ends up, then you can paste it! in this case paste it in ms paint.

    On your clipboard just open up paint and go to edit and paste and then they appear ;)

    print screen doesn't always work while inside games though. Sometimes they do, but when I've tried it the colours are all weird.

    Some games have a key you can assign to take screen caps.

    For videos, you could open a video editor and copy the frame you wanted. I forget what program I used, but I did it once. It's just *very* tedious and time consuming to do.

    Yea videos are another one which are awkward.

    Ah that explains it, I guess videos are a problem. I've done it with quicktime just by copying before I believe. Thanks though.
