Friends: I have 2 hard drives, C:\ and D:\. My computer was working beautifully until I ran CCleaner. After I found the D:\ HDD completely disappeared from My Computer, Disk Management and Control Panel. I had to run system restore to get it back. Can someone kindly explain what's happening? Windows XP Pro. Thank you.
That is very odd! Is this a Desktop? What make? Are both Drives ATA? Are you using cable select? Do the drives show in the BIOS? How old is the BIOS? I have an old system where you have to turn on the second drive in the BIOS or it is not there.
