Anandtech has a new article on the 2 new server CPUs released from the chip giants. From Intel theres the new 3.6GHz Xeon with an additional 1mb of L2 cache. As with many Intel CPUs, the extra cache makes more difference than with their AMD counterparts. AMD has released their new Opteron 252. Aside from the additional 200MHz increase to 2.6GHz they also have included SSE3 instructions and shifted down to 90nm as well as bumping up the Hypertransport to 1GHz.
