Hi there, Could anyone please give me any ideas on how best to sort my HDD please? Here's the outcome from the partition info tool: I'm trying to wipe everything and start again with that hard drive, but on Partition Magic I get this: Any help would be greatly appreciated.
how about when you try to do it from windows Disk Management? Start -> Run type "compmgmt.msc" -> Disk Management
personally i use Partition Xpert 2k3 which has being updated and is included in Acronis Disk Director Suite it includes a bootable CD maker which loads before XP gets a chance to say your HDD is not well BTW: i learnt the hard way not to use partition magic[ot]IMHO partition magic is :swear:ing crap, & i'm not the only 1 that doesn't like partition magic[/ot] Edit: can you delete the bad partition ?
