Hi someone is selling me a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with these specs:

    Pentium 4 3.2ghz
    512mb pc2700 333mhz
    80 gb hd
    CD/DVD RW
    ATI Mobility Card

All this for $500 sounds like a good deal. I'm waiting to find out what mobo it uses in order to see if I can upgrade the ram to ddr2 and more of it. The graphics card will also have to go. Now I'm going to be using this for college and I do play Counter Strike 1.6 and maybe Counter Strike Source, I was wondering if this was a good buy, or should I wait and shell out $400 more for a laptop with a core 2 duo running @ 1.8ghz. Thanks

I found something better Core 2 Duo T5600 @ 1.83, for 650. And it has the ability to upgrade to a faster core 2 duo if necessary. I'm very happy I waited.

Yea, it has a ATI Radeon X1400 which isn't the best but its better than some. I'm sure I'll be able to play Counter Strike without a problem.
