shut a computer down from another computer

    is there any software that can shut a computer down on a network from another computer, or make the cpu usage go to 100% or use all the ram up?

    No, I don't see something like that ever being useful in everday situations.

    I may be mistaken, but I doubt there is anything like that in existence...perhaps clarify why, and what you are trying to do?

    You can make a service that does an infinite loop maybe, and to increase RAM usage, use a technique in C++ to cause a memory leak which would eat it up within a few seconds I guess. Not as far as I know remotely though.

    i wanted to do it, so then my dad would get annoyed and move off my main computer, as he wont use the old computer becouse he says its too slow.

    Well I suggest upgrading his old computer. Its a bit dishonest to do that.

    after christmas my dad will have radeon 9600, 3.0ghz, dfi infinity, 512mb ram, 20gb hdd, so then it will be ok.
