My computer is one I am refurbishing for a friend. The MB is K8N-Neo4. When I try to turn the computer off, I hit shut down and it will begin the windows shut down. Then the monitor will go off, but not the computer. You must then turn it off and back on and start it over. It will also do that when trying to re-start. I have checked everything I know to check in the BIOS. Also checked to see if this board has any updates and there are none. I would really like some suggestions please.
Have you tried backing up your files & re-installing windows? Not positive if that would fix it, but I've had this issue before and it worked for me when I tried it.
I have already had to do a second install of windows for a problem with it freezing up. I'm about ready to give up on this one!! Thanks for your reply, however.
