Oh, man, I just picked this up. It's a Mel Brooks movie, about making a silent movie. What's even funnier, it's a silent movie itself (okay, there's one word said by famous mime Marcel Marceu), but it's Mel Brooks, so it has to be good.
WOW.... I cannot beleive you dug that one out. Is it on DVD? Should be dirt cheap now. I can hardly remember any of it.... man I want to watch it now! :x:
Yup. DVD. I saw it years ago, but it'll go along nicely with Spaceballs ("I see your Schwartz is as big as mine.") and History of the World Part I ("Goodbye head!" "Hello, balls!"). I do so love Mel Brooks movies. I don't remember much of it either, but I remember them attempting to get Burt Reynolds in their film, the old ladies catching them in compromising situations and calling them fags, and the aformentioned mime speaking.
My first was... what else - Blazing Saddles I absolutely love the man. LOL, the bit in 'history of the world' where they stone the Roman army with a bazooka size spliff.
Oh, yeah, that was great, but I think the Inquisition bit was the best part. And then the previews of Part II... I remember the fart scene in Blazing Saddles the most (and I'm sure many guys do).
