size does matter

new to this so bare with me. When watching video footage on windows mdia player I am able to switch between the small centre screen image or enlarge to full screen. When enlarging to full screen from youtube or bbc iplay all i see is a blank black screen. I am sorry to say I am no computer genius, so any help back would be best recieved in the most simply form of english (press this press that etc)

reinstall me

when you reinstall quicktime (link above) and it still doesnt work, try uninstalling first and then installing quicktime again

Actually: YouTube and BBC's iPlayer use Flash, not quicktime - give flash player a re-install and see if that makes any difference for now.

It could also be a plugin issue within Firefox or something like that if you happen to be using an alternate browser. Which browser are you using?
