You probably already know if you want to go with an aging socket 754 CPU. Odds are you already own it if you are reading this. While this board can have some issues, I would suggest that if you go in armed with some solid knowledge and a good PSU that will deliver the power you need, the EPoX 8NPA-SLI can fit your needs. Given its robust feature set at the $90 price point (at Newegg and ZipZoomFly) and the fact that it delivers SLI to a last generation product, it is hard to go wrong with it if you will actually utilize its headline features.
