software to install password when opeing program

    I am looking for some type of software that will let me install a password to a program. So when I open that program I will need a password before I can use it. Does anybody know of any free software that can do that. Please help if you can. Thank You.

    check out this one,and it is free...
    WinGuard Pro 2006 Free Edition 6.4

    just do a google search to download it.

    I have tried Winguard Pro 2006 but the free version will not let me put a password on internet explore. I need to have the full version for that to work. Is that true or am I doing something wrong. Could there be another program that is free so I can put a password on Internet Explore. That is all I want to do. Please help if you can. Thank You.
