Sony stepped up to the plate today and promised to help Dell share the cost of the Dell battery recall we told you about earlier today. Sony also says that it sells those same batteries to other PC manufacturers, though they did not say which companies. Sony has promised to share the cost of a massive battery recall announced by Dell Monday after a series of notebook PCs burst into flames. Dell reported to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission that 4.1 million laptops worldwide could catch fire, and recalled the batteries, which were built by Sony. [H] I didn't know this happened, but it seems the exploding Dell story is true, and there are more cases.
I have a Dell.... "Moves Laptop of crotch" But i dont have Dell Batterys i have compatables.... i dont have the orig battery as it had allready been replaced when i bought the laptop off ebay! (yes, batterieS as i have 2 in my laptop)
