just bought a sony vaio fz11z, which has great specs apart from a rather slow hard disk. my prob is that when i play Rome: Total War, every so often it crashes to desktop and i have not a clue.
the laptop runs vista, but i play the game during lunch break at work on my pc which also runs vista and no probs there.
work pc spec: intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz, ddr2 667mhz ram 2gb, x1950 pro 512mb graphics card
lappy spec, intel core 2 duo 2ghz, ddr2 667mhz ram 2gb, 8400m gt 256mb vram.
so, i dont think specs are that different, and anyway, its not exactly a new game. ive tried running it in comptiblitiy mode (spelling..) but still crashes, but not as often. if any one has any ideas please help! thanks
