I think my system board is toast or the CMOS Battery is toast? I have a Sony Vaio pcv-RX681 and I have removed all the hardware and still have the problem with the startup stopping right away with the blue sony screen and a non-stop beep. So I have looking to replace the motherboard and possibly upgrade the speed any ideas???
could well be memory issues. have you got any ram you can swop it with? the board isn't detecing a certain piece of hardware. could be cpu, ram, graphics card, power supply and in some cases cpu fan.
