HI, I lost my sound card driver cd.tried to download from the net and install realtek driver.did lots of time.Not passing windows logo and it says STOP or CONTINUE ANYWAY. I have a Built in soundcard on Mother board. Done the PC wizard. That just means the company has not paid Microsoft a fee to put their stamp of approval on the driver. If you downloaded it from the hardware manufacturer for your flavor of Windows, it should work fine.
