Sound card on A7V333 mb

Can somone tell me if it is neccessary to have a soundcard on the Asus A7V333 m/b?

I'm building a new system and want to know if remove a Creative Labs sound card that I want to put into the new system, will the old A7V333 PC still work as usual (except for the obvious!) :confused: ?

Yes. If you don't uninstall the drivers, you may get a message about not being able to find the card, but it will run fine otherwise.
