:confused: have got a dj 4100 pci sound card 95/98 is it pos. to update to xp .have tried the site on the disk www.tsunami.com.tw but it does not say any thing about sound cards .can any body help

Ok after a bit of search I found they use the c-media chipset the drivers can be found here http://www.cmedia.com.tw/download/OS_e-cmi8738_index.htm for xp, I'm not sure which model you have so you might have to look around...
